[K-Drama Review] You Are Beautiful

It has been two weeks since You Are Beautiful (YAB) ended and I still can't get enough. I feel really sad when I learned that it will end so soon just when the story gets so interesting. The ending was so sudden that I had a hard time accepting it. It has been my routine to waste time in internet cafes every Thursday and Friday just to watch YAB and now that it’s over it seems like my Thursday and Friday are getting so dull.

As a tribute to YAB, i made this blog to show how I love this series.

This is a rundown of my favorite Asian dramas of all time. I’ve watched a lot of Asian dramas already and these are the dramas that stirred my emotions and bring out the hopeless romantic side of me. You can either agree or disagree with me, it's up to you.

It's Time for a NEW MOON

It’s barely one month before the worldwide movie premiere of the second installment of the hit saga by Stephenie Meyer. Millions of views for the trailers and hundreds of websites surfacing dedicated to the movie. Fans all over the world are now gearing up to show their support to the saga and I bet movie houses will be crowded just like the premiere of Twilight.

Mi Nam Ishineyo (You Are Beautiful)

This is a story about a girl (Go Mi Nyu) who ends up switching places with his twin brother (Go Mi Nam) when the latter gets into an accident after being selected as 1 of the four members of “A.N.JELL”. The story will also focused on the behind-the-scenes life of an idol group called “A.N.JELL”, their difficulties, love and career.

I've watched the first two episodes available online and I find it very funny and exciting. I got fired up! Park Shin Hye can really pull it off as a guy, kinda reminds me of Yoon Eun Hye in Coffee Prince. And the leading man, Jang Geun Suk, looked very mean and dangerous. The two of them have a typical I-hate-You-At-The-Start story with a twist. I wonder what will happen to the two of them in the next episodes? The anticipation is killing me!

It might be too early to say this but I'm definitely loving this drama and I'm looking forward to the next episodes. Yay! Is it BOF all over again for me?
